Weder in meiner Jugend noch jetzt bin ich ein großer Fan der Simpsons gewesen.

Ich glaube, dass ich nicht eine Folge der Trickfilm-Serie mit den gelben Protagonisten gesehen habe. Den einzigen Bezug, den ich zu Homer, Bart & Co. bislang hatte, ist Die Simpsons, der Film, der als Blu-ray meine Film-Sammlung vervollständigt hat.

Doch Anfang der Woche wurden Fotos von LEGO Simpsons geleakt, die mein LEGO-Herz höher schlagen lassen.
Aus den zwei geleakten Fotos wurde inzwischen eine offizielle Info von LEGO inklusive zahlreichen detaillierten Fotos und einem Video auf YouTube, die meine Vorfreude noch größer machen.

Das LEGO Modell 71006 wird satte 2.523 Steine umfassen. Aktuell ist LEGO 71006 The Simpsons House noch nicht bei Amazon gelistet. Doch das wird sich sicherlich bald ändern.

Als unverbindliche Preisempfehlung wurden 199 US-Dollar genannt. Wer jetzt allerdings diesen Betrag in Euro umrechnet und sich über weniger als 150 Euro freut, dürfte falsch liegen. LEGO hat sich angewöhnt, den Dollar-Preis eins zu eins auf Euro umzurechnen.

Doch selbst 199 Euro sind für das liebevoll gestaltete Modell, das bald schon im kommenden Monat erhältlich sein soll,  ein angemessener Preis: neben sechs Minifiguren (LEGO Homer, LEGO Marge, LEGO Bart, LEGO Lisa, LEGO Maggy und LEGO Ned Flanders) gibt es ein komplett ausgestattetes Simpson-Haus über zwei Etagen inklusive abnehmbarem Dach, Garage und Auto.

Allein bei den ganzen Details, die es zu entdecken gibt, werde ich ganz verrückt – aber seht selbst:
